Morgan Gruer is an Emmy® Award-winning, Webby-nominated writer and director known for bold, female-driven stories that blend sharp humor, emotional depth, and visual imagination. With a background in animation and design, her work spans acclaimed shorts, music videos, and commercials—always marked by a playful yet poignant sensibility. Her films have screened at festivals worldwide and been featured in Rolling Stone and The New York Times. Gruer won Best Director at Nòt Film Festival for her mixed-media short Ghosted, and her animated short Reflections received Best International Animation at both the Louisiana International Film Festival and the National Film Festival for Talented Youth.
