Josie Andrews is a New Jersey-born director, producer, and writer for stage and screen. A former child performer who toured nationally with Broadway musicals and opened for Radio Disney acts, Josie transitioned into filmmaking with award-winning narrative shorts that have screened at Oscar- and BAFTA-qualifying festivals. She earned both her B.A. and M.F.A. from USC, where she now teaches production. Her debut documentary Waiting in the Wings, about theatre’s pandemic-era revival, is streaming on the PBS app. In the episodic world, Josie has directed several top-earning vertical dramas with millions of views globally. Her feature debut MIRIAM is in development, selected for the Sundance/WIF Finance Intensive and the AWD Rising Director Fellowship.
