Ira Eduardovna is a filmmaker and video installation artist whose work examines themes of migration, displacement, and memory through hybrid visual storytelling. Born in Uzbekistan and raised in Israel, she is now based in New York City. Her installations have been exhibited internationally at institutions including the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Museum Morsbroich in Germany, Oi Futuro in Brazil, and the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. She is a recipient of prestigious awards and grants such as the Guggenheim Fellowship, NYFA Fellowship, NYSCA Grant, Gesher Film Fund, and the New Fund for Film and Television. Tongue Behind Teeth is her first narrative short film.
